DEPOSIT AMOUNT
100 percent of service charges are due upon confirmation of your submitted request. You may use a credit card to hold your reservation, and leave a check for your provider to pick up at the initial visit.
IF YOU CANCEL AN PORTION OF A CONFIRMED ORDER...
• More than 7 days in advance of your reservation start date, P.U.P.S. shall retain a $10 cancellation fee per confirmed order.
• 7 days or less in advance of your service order start date, you forfeit 100 percent of the service fee. 50 percent of the forfeited fee may be applied to future service orders confirmed within 6 months of the last day of cancelled.
• Money forfeited may not be applied to any outstanding balances.
TRANSFERRING RESERVATIONS
Transferring deposit to future orders is permitted in accordance with the cancellation policy above.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
P.U.P.S. provides Pet Care services regardless of the weather, with the exception of hazardous weather conditions deemed by the National Weather Service (NWS) to be occurring, imminent, or a very high probability of occurring and serious enough to cause significant inconvenience, and/or for weather conditions posing a threat to life or property. These conditions are reported by the NWS as advisories and warnings. If in PUPS sole judgment PUPS cancels any items of a confirmed service order, due to a NWS issued advisory or warning, you will receive a prorated refund, except for instances in which a visit of any length was able to be preformed.
THE RISKS
While PUPS has an outstanding safety record, animal guardianship has inherent risks. It should be recognized that accidents can and do occur. For this reason, we cannot assume responsibility for injury, loss, or damage of property that is not caused by the direct negligence or P.U.P.S. We reserve the right to terminate any relationship, at any time, if in PUPS sole judgment your animals or property pose a danger to P.U.P.S. health and safety.
CANCELLATION INSURANCE
Cancellation insurance allows you to cancel up to 24 hours before your reservation start date and receive a full refund or transfer your reservation to another date. Cancellation insurance must be purchased at the time that an initial reservation is made and must be paid for each reserved day. “No-Pets” on the reservation start date, or cancellations within 24 hours and after the reservation start date are not covered by cancellation insurance. If you return home early that is the same as canceling service within 24 hours. (Cost is $6 per day and is for Pet Sitting services only. This adds only 2 dollars per visit for Pet Sitting in most cases.)

MAKING RESERVATIONS
Reservations are required for PUPS Pet Sitting, and recommended for PUPS Dog Walking. You can call or mail your reservations to us, or use the buttons at the bottom of this page to submit your request. Reservations are taken on a time available basis. We will confirm reservations by email within 2 days of receiving them. If you do not hear from us after 2 days, call 503-750-PETS or try emailing again.
